Strumpshaw Fen

Back to Strumpshaw Fen yesterday. Quite windy, so not sure if that was the reason for lack of activity there this time. But still a few things to see, and spent a nice time there. No Bittern this time, but heard it close by several times. With this bird it is just luck, as shy as it is.

It is really too long for driving there and back in a day - perhaps next time we stay over and visit a couple other places too in the area at the same time.

For the weekend, i dont know yet. I guess it will be some garden work again - then we will see how the weather is like.
