Leighton Moss Spoonbills - yes, thats what we saw in Leighton Moss! So, a 'few' pictures of these strange looking birds :-). Never seen these before, so that was exciting. After a long wait, they came quite close - and sun were coming at that point, so a little lucky :-)Else, there were lot of Oystercatchers around. A couple right outside the hide, and we saw when they swapped for the eggs. Another couple had hard times trying to keep the sheeps away from the nest. They even were pecking the sheep when it came too close.Dragonflies and Marsh Harriers....and lots of little Egrets!Not a bad place to spend a afternoon.
