Back to Norway on holiday
Finally we decided to make the trip to Norway. Almost lost the plane because traffic jam - but did reach it around 5 minutes before it was too late. As ever, im a nervous wreck before a flight - but now happy and safe here. I'll add pics as we go along.
Coming back was good - all the empty space, the peace, the surroundings...yes, its here my heart is. Being able to take a walk without meeting crowds, but can find empty places everywhere. You can walk in a park without meeting 200 people and 100 dogs. No doubt we will be back soon. Its been far too long since last time.

Its the last day here - a shame we could not stay longer. Now it is time for the next destination, and i am all nervy tonight. Saying goodbye is always sad

we were back to see the salmon again. Happy to be back to the sound of waterfall, and the fresh, clean air.
North of Norway

Back home
After some days away we are back home. we had some very nice days in Norway. South part was good, but north even better!!! In the south we were chasing thunderstorm - that was fun. And had some time with the kids.
I also got to visit a friends grave for a final goodbye, as i did in north for my father.
In the north we had long walks - trip to arctic circle, Saltstraumen - the worlds biggest maelstrom, in wonderful weather.
We had a walk in a forest, were climbing on rocks and steep hills - very very nice. After that we were told it was bears in the area - i think we would have been more aware if we knew that!
Colours were amazing.
Clean fresh air, peaceful, wild nature - i love it.
And it was 4 years since last time i was there, so good to be back
Leaving wasnt easy when you are in such enviroments.
Flight home was bumpy, and i was very happy when plane landed!
And i can continue with my telescope :-)
