April 1

March 30, we were told the owls still was around, so we had a look . We saw 2: the usual pale one and the darker one who sometimes comes around. Not a lot of pics as it came close only couple of times. As one landed nicely on the fence post, a horse scared it off. After that it wasnt much chance. Yesterday people saw 3 again, so hopefully we get time to have a look in the weekend if light is good. I know - i have hundreds of shots of them, but you always want better! And they are very beautiful birds., so who can get enough? :-)

Yesterday it was Rutland again, and as the Osprey was chasing a Egyptian goose, it came quite close to the hide. Else it was not very busy there that time.

But..in the garden it is very busy again!!! And a nice variety of birds. A new visitor is the Siskin, beautiful bird. I made a list of birds that has been visiting ( i also added the norwegian name for them).:

blackcap - munk Blue tit - blåmeis great tit - kjøttmeis willow tit - granmeis long-tailed tit - stjertmeis redpoll - Polarsisik robin - rødstrupe chaffinch - bokfink greenfinch - grønnfink goldfinch - Stillits sparrow - spurv yellowhammer - gulspurv starling - stær blackbird - Svarttrost collared dove - tyrkerdue jackdaw - kaie siskin - grønnsisik

For the weekend nothing much is planned. We do need to clean the bird feeding areas. If good enough light, i guess we will be out with the cameras too.
