Middleton Lakes

Nothing much this weekend, but we needed a more relaxed time after a busy week. We had a visit to Middleton Lakes again, after almost a year. A long walk around the reserve, which mostly was occupied of Black headed gulls and not much else. But it was a nice place to walk . Near the entrance Herons had nests in the trees, and thats a quite amazing and entertaining sight. One of the trees had many nests - i have not seen something like that before. Woodpeckers were around in that area too - and thats the best part of the reserve.

Today it has just been some work done here at home. Coming week will have a couple long drives again!
