Rye Meads

We heard Rye Meads was a good place for Kingfishers, so we had a go there. Crap weather, but since we were in the area we thought to give it a try to see if it was worth to go back to.

We saw the Kingfisher, but not very close. It was in and out a few times. No good pictures; Low shutterspeed and high ISO. Of other things it wasnt much, and i think it was because the wind.

In a tree, we noticed some super cute chicks lined up :-) I can not say cute about the Coot chicks who were paddling around - they looked more like coming form the Muppets :-)

Else, it was the usual ones that never seem to bother about the weather - black headed gulls.

The reserve looked OK, and could be worth going back on a good day.
