Potteric Carr

After he finished work, a new place was on the list to explore; Potteric Carr. As we drove there, it was rain and horrible weather - but again, it turned out to be a very good day with longer sunny spells which was not expected :-)

It is a big reserve, and a very good one with lot of variation. We had a long and lovely walk there. For the time we was, not so many birds around, but great number of dragonflies and dameselflies. Very nice to be in such a place after rain when sun is out.

The most interesting thing to see was some Black headed gulls chasing a Marsh Harrier. He had taken one of their chicks, and he were not far from the hide.

As for reports from that place, it should be a good place for birds and wildlife, so we will for sure go back there again.
