Brandon 25 - 26 June

This weekend weather was too unstable, so we had two visits to Brandon. Very good views of the Kingfisher, and the pics not too bad even on days with not so good light. He came around several times, and was in no hurry to leave :-)

The Terns was around too, and i love their shapes and wings. Very beautiful birds. The rain in between just added something to the pictures, which i find nice.

This week is another busy one. Long drive again, but forecast is crap..so i am not sure what we will do...if it will be any chance to visit somewhere.

At the moment it seems the little eagle chick is dying, and that is heartbreaking. I find it cruel no help given when it could have saved it from all this suffering. To say let nature decide isnt right - we help animals we see suffering all the time..animals stuck in mud, swans frozen in ice etc..we done leave them to die...this is not different because a camera is pointed to the nest. Just to watch when someone suffer is just cruel.
