Otmoor

Back to one of my favourite places today, Otmoor :-) Again, a very warm day, We knew it would not be much activity with birds, so we were just looking for butterflies, dragonflies and other creepy things.

Thing is that it will mostly be a repeat of what we have from before...still, it is worth taking. And it is always a hope for something new to appear. And to improve on things.

As we arrived to the screen, a Bittern flew past - so all excited. But none of us had changed the camera settings back after the dragonflies. So we missed a very good chance :-( A bird in flight with only 320 shutterspeed will not work very well.

Few minutes after, it was another flight - but had to point the camera towards the sun - so again, no good pictures. But i post them anyway, as it is such a difficult bird to get.

Today it is cloudy but warm, so we are staying at home.

Coming week will be busy again, and going north. Forecast does not seem very good for that at the moment.
