Strumpshaw, Blacktoft, Otmoor

A couple days away, and we went back to Strumpshaw and Blacktoft. Also a visit to Minsmere, but that was disappointing - long walks and seeing nothing..in the end we decided to go back to Strumpshaw. Again, light wasnt very good :-(

An otter gave a very good view in Strumpshaw...as usual, he had the best luck and got some great images, while i only got 2 -3 not so good ones. While i had a plant in the way, he got some close pictures of the otter looking at the camera! Annoying!

Two Barn owls were around in the early evening. Even you know light its awful for photography, you still take them...snapping happy away until they disappear. No great images of them.

Water deers, Muntjac, Kingfishers, Lizards, Marsh harriers...a good variation at Strumpshaw.

Blacktoft was a bit quiet..but Snipes were showing well. At the end, a Peregrine Falcon chased waders in front of us, so a moment with excitement before we left for home.

Earlier in the week, it was Otmoor again. We saw the Purple Heron, but we didnt manage to take any pictures.

Norway is set for next month!
