Strumpshaw, Otmoor..

On my day, i could choose where to go....and Strumpshaw was my choice. A good day there, with a sight of a beautiful Glossy Ibis! That was a nice surprise :-) Other than that, it was good views of Kingfishers. Not a lot of other things...heard Bearded Tits, but i think it was too windy for them to show...And also some nice and close Snipes.

Lovely place, so a good place to be on a birthday ( forget all about age and such :-) )

He bought me a cover for the lense, and i bought myself a battery grip - something i wanted for a long time.

The day after, it was back to Otmoor for another try of the Purple Heron. This time we saw it twice - i got some crap pictures of it, but at least i have some record shot of it now.

I had the result of the scan of my arm, which showed it is inflamed, plus another thing i didnt really understand a lot of. Possible 2 months to wait to get a injection!! And no heavy exercise with the arm...which i miss doing. But happy nothing serious - i was afraid surgery!

Nothing planned for the weekend - usual grey Saturday it seems, so i guess we have to hope for Sunday.
