Leighton Moss
Up very early this morning, to be at Leighton Moss by 9, as that is the best time to see the Bearded tits. This time, with the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports we hire.
A lot of birds, but also lot of people...so finding a spot was not easy! But we got quite a few :-) The lense seem good, but too heavy for me to use for a long time. I used it on a few snaps, with not too bad results. I might get the cheaper and more lightweight version; Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Contemporary
When we finished there, we took the usual trip to Morecambe bay. Most of the good light was gone, but we had a quite entertaining time there watching Egret fishing, and a Gull catching crabs. A Great White Egret flew past - something not seen very often.
