Bad weather days

Its not easy to do photography these days. The grey days just dont want to leave. Only some sunny spells now and then, which we try to use as much we can.

Since last post we have been a few places..Black Mountain for Kites and Hawks...Got some close Kingfishers from a local place...Bittern in Rutland..The rare Purple Heron in Leighton Moss..A quick visit to Strumpshaw Fen..

I also finally got me a 500 f4!!! VERY heavy! I have not got to try it properly yet. The Kingfishers in the gallery above is taken with that lens today, but had to play with low shutterspeed to keep the iso down, so i can not really judge yet. I believe i will still have to use the 400, when my arms needs a rest.

Will soon be back in Norway again! For a little longer stay this time.
